Prince of Crows

A Horus Heresy novella

Sevatar and the Kyroptera try to salvage what they can from the disastrous Thramas Crusade, unaware that their primarch Konrad Curze still lives in a wandering, deathless state.

READ IT BECAUSE
We get to see the Night Haunter's history and home world for the first time, and find out long-hidden secrets about Sevatar, who as usual gets the best lines and an insanely cool moment of heroism...

THE STORY
The Thramas Crusade draws to its inevitable conclusion, with the forces of the Dark Angels and the Night Lords locked in a struggle that neither side can bring themselves to abandon. The Night Haunter lies comatose after being mauled by his primarch brother Lion El’Jonson, and in his absence it falls to First Captain Sevatar and the remaining members of the Kyroptera to command the Legion. But the self-styled ‘Prince of Crows’ has his own plans to save the VIII Legion from annihilation – plans he intends to follow, with or without his comrades in tow...

Written by Aaron Dembski-Bowden. This story is also available in Shadows of Treachery, book XXII of the Horus Heresy series.

The audiobook edition has a running time of approximately 3 hours and is read by Jonathan Keeble.
