The Story

Following the trajectory of a blood-red comet, the berserk World Eaters blaze a path of destruction across the galaxy in its wake. The small cemetery world of Certus Minor appeals to the Space Marines of the Excoriators Chapter for protection, but the force dispatched to deal with this grim threat is far too small and their losses against the renegades are high. Just as all seems lost, salvation is borne out of legend itself as sinister spectral warriors descend upon this planet of the dead, and the enemies of the Imperium come face to face with those who have already travelled beyond the realm of the living...

Don't Overlook this Ebook

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott

Rob Sanders has delivered in my opinion the best SMB book to date. Fluff, character development, pacing, and a compelling story that drives you to keep reading. Hopefully Zachariah Kersh will be a name as recognized as Uriel Ventris in future publications.

Not sure why this book is called Legion Of The Damned

Rated 2 out of 5 by phil

Im always wary of books that start with an opening prologue set after the events of the book and this time im proved right a very frustrating read as your always waiting for the Legion Of The Damned to show up and when they do its more with a whimper than the bang your hoping for...on the plus side Zachariah Kersh is a strong character who will i hope feature heavily in future books and had this book been titled anything else then i would have enjoyed it far more...sadly this wasnt the Legion Of The Damned book i was hoping for.

Where was the Legion of the Dammed?

Rated 3 out of 5 by CMK

This book does not have the correct title. While the Legion of the Damned make an (small) appearance they are in no way the central figures of the book. I will still give it 3 out of 5 because it is an excellent Space Marine Battles book it is in no way a story about the Legion of the Damned. They are in it but are not the driving force in the book. Rob Sanders writes a great story it just needed to be called something else...Battle of Certus Minor etc. I do hope to see the characters in the book again. Overall, good book but if you are looking for a story about the LOD it's not here
