The story

The Word Bearers are among the most feared and reviled of all Chaos Space Marines. Fierce warriors with a fanatical religious zeal, they blaze across the galaxy in the service of their dark gods. Worlds will burn, and entire civilisations will fall before the fury of the XVIIth Legion.

This omnibus is the definitive collection of Anthony Reynolds' popular Word Bearers series, following the cruel exploits and machinations of First Acolyte Marduk and the 34th Host. Gathered together for the first time, the novels Dark Apostle, Dark Disciple and Dark Creed are concluded with the all-new short story Torment.

When I read the former review of this book, it is like reading something I would have written before I even did it. Well I Agree with the other review, it is what inspired me to play Warhammer 40.000 and the especially the army I selected namely the Word Bearers ;-) And even if I already own the books included in the Omnibus I will still the Omnibus :-D That good it is I tell ya :-D

I wish they would continue with this series for I believe it is the best. Anthony Reynolds kept me spellbound to his books and I could put them down.

Word Bearers Omnibus

I have read all previous books and thanks mr. Anthony Reynolds I saw true dark nature of post-heresy Word Bearers. Those books are my the best of all WH40k novels - interesting story line, well presented chapter and perfect fighting scenes. I must have this book in my collection

I loved the three novels. They inspired me to read more from BL, and they inspired me to create a Word Bearers army and one really cool Chaplain/Dark Apostle Dreadnaught :-D

I have all the original books in this Omnibus and loved every one of them, made me fall in love with the XVIIth Legion. I may get this for the artwork on the front and the short story that I am dying to read. I would recomend this to anyone.

Logars Children spreads the word

Rated 5 out of 5 by andrew

This is an epic collection, with each novel develing deeper into the Logars Legion as they wage war on the Heathen to bring them the word. This series has some of the best combat naration in this known galaxy. With great character development and a truly interesting story arch makes for some gripping reading. Stop reading this review....and go embrace the word!
