Uriel Ventris is back... with a ghost story?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tyrannofex

An amazing book from start to finish. It is action packed and does what I personally thought a 40K book couldn't do; it's a 40K ghost story! This just adds to why the book's so good, along with an insight into a dark underworld of rebels. The background to the setting is very dark and depressing, but this adds to the ghost story idea. The background is that of a war, but one with a difference. You start to hear about this war from diffferent perspectives, adns soon come to realise that there is more to the mystery of Salinas than meets the eye. All in all, an extremely good book.

Lame boring book follows our heroes attempt to reach home.what was really sad was thier reaction to a city being massacred. Omg thier angels of death they have done worse in thier histories yet they spent 3/4 of the book not understanding how anyone could do this. A sad sad novel for 2 very intresting characters and the only saving grace was the introduction of Gray knights into this that prevented it from being one of the worst BL books ever

Sick ass book

I first picked this book up at the local bookstore and this book caught my attention... The story line, the violence, the blood and gore went perfectly on this book! What else can you ask for?!

wow

just unbeleavable. simply unbeleavably brilliant. loved the twist with the grey knights. It gave me the ability to creep people out a lot by randomly saying 'you were there' brilliant just for that 1 quote
