The first ever anthology dedicated to the Blood Angels and their successor chapters available exclusively as a Print on Demand title.
Of all the chapters of the noble Adeptus Astartes, none have a legacy as tragic as the Blood Angels and their progeny. With their Primarch killed at the hands of one of his brothers, the Blood Angels fight across countless worlds in the Emperor’s name knowing that at any time the flaw they carry in their geneseed could turn them into the ferocious killing machines that threaten to tear the chapter apart.
The Book of Blood collects together all three books of Gordon Rennie and Colin MacNeil’s critically acclaimed Bloodquest comic strip, with six short stories :
Space Hulk - Gav Thorpe’s novella
Crimson Night - James Swallow, from Inferno! #38
The Blood of Angels - C.S. Goto, from Inferno! #42
Heart of Rage - the prose version of James Swallow’s audio drama.
At Gaius Point - Aaron Dembski-Bowden which features in Legends of the Space Marines.
Blood Debt - James Swallow, previously featured in the Blood Angels omnibus

The BIG Book o'Blood
Rated 4 out of 5 by Destructa
Impressive compendium of Astartes adventures to keep you busy for a while--at a nice price, considering the job you'd have trying to track down all the individual stories & comics elsewhere. Bloodquest set a high bar for Space Marine character development when Leonatus & co's quest took them to a daemon planet inside the Eye of Terror. Space Hulk is good. Crimson Night and The Blood of Angels have spine-chilling secrets. Heart of Rage may be the gem of the collection--it's really good, and I am one of those people who just can't "do" audiobooks, so I am grateful that I don't have to miss out.

this is a a really cool book, especialy for blood angel fans. i thought i wouldnt like comics as much as novels, but blood quest was great. i enjoyed space hulk very much. i enjoyed heart of rage more as an audio book, but it was still good. it was good to read about some sucsecor chapters too.

Most tragic legacy of a Space Marines chapter, not the Blood Angels, but the Thousand Sons. But the Blood Angels are super cool, too.
great collection

awesome artwork in the comic series. much cheaper also. $30 for the whole book when trying to find the books individually was extremely expensive. all the short stories were good except now i have two books with blood debt in them and three books with heart of rage in them.
