Hamer and Bolter 9

I always look forward to Ben Counter's Phalanx series(I wonder what the Fangs of Dorn are.) However Steve Parker's "Survivor" absolutely blew everything out of the water. I won't ruin it for anyone but the story will shape one the most legendary characters of the 40k Universe. "Survivor" on its own is worth 5 Stars. Also when can we expect another story of the Deathwatch Kill Team?
Great Read

Very good as always, and Survivor was a massive highlight, fantastic short story!
An impressive selection

A very good issue. 'Phalanx' picks up the pace nicely and 'Survivor' is, as others have already pointed out, an excellent story. But both the Chambers (it's always good to see another Tau pov story) and the Green are also strong - Jonathan Green's Bretonnian story was particularly impressive, exploring the fanatacism and exploitative nature of faith in the Old World in a very entertaining fashion. This issue might be the strongest of the lot so far.
