The Black Library | Bringing the worlds of Warhammer and Warhmmer 40,000 to life!
Games day 2006
Those who made their way to the pavillion at the NEC at Games Day were sure to find all sorts of activities and interesting people to talk to in the BL Publishing area.

Clint Langley is a cover artist for books such as Dead Sky, Black Sun, the Ciaphas Cain novels and the Darkblade novels.

The queue of people just desperate to have Dan Abnett sign something.

And the sorts of things he and the other authors had to sign!

Foreheads!

Cardboard Powerclaws!

Xhalax!

This is what the author signing table looked like from some distance away. At this point you would probably have to wait for an hour and a half in order to get one of the Horus Heresy authors to stick their name on your book.

Phew! Closer now. Ben Counter will probably be able to sign your copy of Galaxy in Flames just after he's told this chap where he got his shirt from.

Who have we got here then? You can see James Swallow at the back there, next to him with his head turned away is Anthony Reynolds, Steven Savile reaches for another book and CS Goto gets stuck into another signature.

Nathan Long, author of Orcslayer - signing machine.

Nathan's queue show him the love.

Sandy Mitchell, author of Caves of Ice, Death's City and Death's Messenger.

Dan talks to a fan who has converted and painted his own army of Blood Pact Troopers.

Customers crowd around the retail stands.

Staff on the Black Library stand were kept busy all day selling copies of new novels such as Orcslayer, Galaxy in Flames and Dawn of War: Tempest.
