PalemonPalemon

Brother Palemon is the easiest Space Marine to convert. I decided on the classic shooting pose, since he is often depicted giving covering fire to Cloten during an assault. His most distinctive feature is the severe monk-like haircut he sports. I used the bare head from the WHFB Chaos Accessory Sprue to convert him. I cut off the ribbed neck area from a MK7 helmet and glued the Chaos Warrior head to the neck. Shave off the rear protruding attachment behind the head, and with greenstuff, fill in the area behind the neck.

I then flattened a small ball of greenstuff onto the head, smoothing it out until it covered the top of the head thinly. With a sculpting tool, I scribed in the individual hairs, and then cut away the shaven portion of the hairline below the tip of the ears. I also cut a small inverted" V" shape at the forehead to simulate his hair's parting line. Palemon was then assembled in a standard shooting pose, with an extra Bolt gun clip, and his helmet at his waist.
