The hunters have become the hunted. The Night Lords flee to the dark fringes of the Imperium to escape their relentless pursuers – the eldar of Craftworld Ulthwé. Their flight takes them to the carrion world of Tsagualsa, where their primarch died and their Legion was broken. There, history will repeat itself as a deadly assassin stalks the shadows, and the Night Lords are drawn into a battle they are destined to lose.

Aaron Dembski-Bowden is easily one of the greatest BL authors out there and this series has me counting down the months till the next release. Ave Dominus Nox!

Night Lords like Thousand Sons are unfairly treated during the Heresy but have been written about so well by ADB!! A pre-heresy series of this legion would be awesome but I bow down to what ADB wants to do. A novel with the Echo of Damnation seems very exciting, I wait with so much anticipation!!
Amazing

I've been waiting a long time to continue with this series and I just got the Ebook, and now I can't put it down. From the first page I have laughed, chuckled, and been filled with rage. The character development in this series is amazing. Talos and First Claw have quickly become my favorite characters in all of the 40k universe. ADB is a phenominal writer and I continue to look forward to anything with his name on it. All hail the 8th Legion, All hail Konrad Curze, and most of all...Long Live The Prophet!!!

Just finished reading the book yesterday. A storming conclusion to the saga of Talos and the Night Lords, one that ADB delivers with such flair that it renders the trilogy as one of the most memorable ever published by BL. The characters are not flat, the Night Lords' saga is meshed with the story of Octavia and Septimus which makes for an endearing tale in its own right. ADB has managed to inject that level of flawed humanity in his Chaos Marines, while they may be demigods knowing no fear and possessing amplified strength their flaws have been stretched, blooming. Thoroughly recommend it.

To say this book is good is an insult...to say it is great is an understatement...this is by far the best book ever produced in the 40k universe. I can't even begin to describe the great character progression, fantastic action, or the story that hooks you right from the start. If your reading this your wasting your time by not reading this book! HAIL THE 8TH LEGION!
need more
