Your doom is near, man-thing

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tyrannofex

A good book all around. It really captures the dark, grimness of the under-empire and is a gem for all Skaven players. Though action packed throughout, it is also very funny, as you get the ridiculous ammount of bickering, buck-passing and paranoia that anyone would expect from a Skaven novel. And since this is Thanquol, who is almost constantly paranoid about being pack-stabbed and often finding ways to kill off annoying subordinates and allies who just seem to get in his way.

My favourite book

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grey Seer Thanqoul

This is the best Black Library book I ever read. It full of action and typical Skaven plots. Not only does it capture the background it gives some of the brillant insight into the life of a smuggler. C L Werner gets the charcter of Grey seer Thanqoul perfectly. Showing his brillance and justfied paranoia.
