*stoundingly Brilliant
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ross3oss
Long does it again! The Ulrika series is shaping up to be a brilliant series. I have longed to read this one since the release of the first, the wait was long but entirely worth it. The plot is thickened from Bloodborn, revealing a source for the attack made by Murnau, however it raises its own mystgeries. These books could easily be transformed into movies. If they did, they'd blow Twilight and all the lesser Vampire cinema from the water just as they do in the world of literature. A must have book for all Vampire fans, regardless of their familiarity with the warhammer world.

BLOODFORGED
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sebastian
It was a long wait but well worth it. I am looking forward to more. Ulrika is an excellent character; the story is always on the go and keeps you reading and longing for more. It is an edge of your seat read and I highly recommend it to all vampire fiction fans!
What a shame
Rated 3 out of 5 by Samuel
I've not finished this book and I'm not sure I'll be able to. You see, Ulrika has the bad habit of beheading people with her rapier, anyone who has done any research would know that that is impossible. The rapier is a stabbing weapon, the only thing sharp about it is the tip. It shattered my suspension of disbelief. Yes, I know it's stupid I'm reading a book about vampires and that is the ting that tips me over the edge, but it shows that Long doesn't care, so why should I. It's a shame because I loved the first book and Ulrika is a great character and I loved the first book.
Great
Rated 4 out of 5 by Scott
Great book. Also i have to point out to Samuel in the review above that Rapiers actually do tend to be edged they were just more for thrusting, some didn't have edges this is true but many and most did. I am an avid researcher of old weapons and can tell you for certain, so don't slam the book for failing to research well ;]
