The best of the 4 first
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicolai (Norway)
The Flight of the Eisenstein is truely full of action and suspence and some revelations about the inquisition, chaos and some info about the death guard legion and what might have lead them to the path of Nurgle .most readers will also grow very fond of the main character Captain Garro as the book starts some time before the flight from istavaan III
Great book, two thirds done
Rated 4 out of 5 by burrek
Following the not so spectacular Galaxy in Flames, this book made me believe in the saga once more. Until I reached the page 300... where it all just went madly down hill. p. 1-299: This book does a terrific job of establishing the Death Guard as a believable bunch along with some imaginative and exciting action. Mr. Swallow is very competent with mundane dialog, exotic descriptions, and character's inner thoughts. But p. 300+... is just wrong. All "epic" conversation are awkward and boredom creeps in (worst 100 p. in all HH till this point). Feels like he had to fill length requirements.
Great Book

This is a great book and one of the best that I've read so far. The time in the warp is origanal and awesome and is one of my favorites in the series. For fans of the Horus Heresy don't hesitate to get your hands on this book.
