Gav has written ‘The Lion’, one of the novellas contained in The Primarchs (you can set a reminder now to make sure you are among the first to own this latest instalment in the New York Times bestselling Horus Heresy series), but today he’s taking a look at his other passion, the mysterious eldar.

A lot of people tell us that they want to see more of the Iron Hands in the Horus Heresy. They’re an interesting Legion – their love for augmetics, their close ties with the Mechanicum and the fact that their Primarch is now just a head in a box makes them well worth seeing more of.

It seems that no sooner have I blown the dust off my own blog that the fiendish adepts of the Black Library choose that moment to pounce and bundle me off to their dankest scriptorium with orders to pen something for their own blog.

A new Graham McNeill novel is always cause for celebration, and Priests of Mars is no exception. The first of a pair of novels delving into the secrets of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Priests of Mars promises to answer many questions that people have been asking for years. Among these questions are “How do the Adeptus Mechanicus recruit new troops?” and “Whatever happened to…” Well, actually, wait until you get to the end of this exclusive extract and we’ll finish that question:

What is the Kraken? That’s a good question. Who better to give us an answer than Chris Wraight, a man who has braved the wilds of Fenris to study this mysterious beast in preparation for his latest short story.

After our video teaser on Monday and our guest blog from George Mann yesterday, there's just one more Raven Guard-related element we need to explore this week: artwork. Karl Richardson (who illustrated the Lone Wolves graphic novel), has been busy recently, drawing jet black, ceramite-clad warriors. Surely this has something to do with what’s to come...

Today concludes our play-through of Beneath the City of the White Wolf. At the end of yesterday’s blog, we left you with a choice; concentrate firepower on the beastman shaman attempting to cast a spell, or level a volley at the incoming beastmen horde.

Our play through of the new Path to Victory book, Beneath the City of the Whit Wolf continues. Yesterday you opted to heal a dying man rather than keep one of your precious healing packs to yourself (not our first choice, but I guess we’re not really chivalrous types). Let’s see if your charity is rewarded...

Yesterday we began our play through of the new Path to Victory book Beneath the City of the White Wolf. Our hero Absalom Kross, Knight Panther of the Empire, discovered a village in the Drakwald forest that had been overrun by a horde of beastmen. You had the option of pursuing the beasts, or searching the village for survivors. Voting on our Facebook page, you opted to search the village (a sensible, if not particularly courageous move). Let’s see what our hero found amongst the ruins...

Attention, would-be adventurers: grab a dice and a pencil and get ready for hard choices and action-packed encounters with a new Path to Victory book. Those of you who played the first Black Library game book, Hive of the Dead, will have fond (or possibly terrifying) memories of desperately trying to escape an Imperial hive city overrun with the living dead, using just a single dice and a trusty pencil. You’ll be pleased to know that second title in our Path to Victory range will be out this Friday. Trade your lasgun for a sword as the action is transported into the dark forests and bleak cities of the Old World.
