Fear of the Dark (Angels)

There can be no more noble and awe-inspiring sight than a fully armoured Space Marine soaring into battle on a jetbike, guns blazing and power sword held high, ready to decapitate the foes of the Imperium.

The Wolf and the Mage

If you’ve not read the novels yet let us fill you in: Prospero Burns and A Thousand Sons are two perspectives on an epic saga of treachery and war. As the Horus Heresy rages, the Space Wolves – a horde of proud, vicious barbarians – are sent to obliterate the Thousand Sons – a brotherhood of warrior-mystics – for dabbling in vile sorcery. A bitter feud begins on Prospero that will last for 10,000 years. To whet your appetite for these incredible sets, here is a short extract from each of the stories.

An Artist’s Impression

A book doesn’t need a shiny, spectacular cover to make it a good book, but when you’ve got an artist like Neil Roberts doing the art for you, it’s certainly not a bad thing. Below is the latest example of Neil’s work which will form the cover for the forthcoming audio drama Garro: Sword of Truth.

Into the Void

The Night Lords have a different method of warfare from most Chaos Space Marines. Abnett Shall Know No Fear

On Saturday, Games Workshop Hobby Centres from New Zealand to New York took part in organised Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse games to celebrate the release of Know No Fear. Nowhere was the excitement more keenly felt than at the Oxford Street Plaza Hobby Centre in London, where Dan himself showed up to sign some books and rain death down upon the foe with a few well-placed orbital bombardments…

Everyone loves a villain

Heroes are all well and good, but it’s the villains that make the Warhammer World what it is. In a land filled with hell-spawned daemons, mad sorcerers and insane necromancers, you need to be pretty maniacal to stand out from the crowd. But in this age of tyrants, there is one name that strikes fear into every soul in the Old World and beyond.
